The Team Behind the Camera
Alyssa
Filmmaker, editor, creative, wife.
I was born and raised in the Lake Tahoe area, and I’ve always felt a deep connection to this incredible region. This area is more than just a beautiful place—it’s my home.
After high school, I moved to Brazil in order to pursue ballet, which is also where I met my husband, JV. My filmmaking journey began when I decided to document my time in Brazil through video.
Although creativity has been prevalent all throughout my life in various ways, filming and editing video is what I am most passionate about. I’m always striving to grow and refine my skills as a filmmaker, and I aspire towards excellence and authenticity through this art that I enjoy.
When I am not behind the camera, you will find me exploring the area with my husband by hiking, nordic skiing, visiting a local coffee shop, going on road trips, or just enjoying a relaxing summer day by the lake. This is my story, and now I am excited to help tell yours!

Hello, I’m JV! I was born and raised in Brazil, and that is where I met Alyssa. I first came to Tahoe in 2021 when we got engaged, and I was amazed by how beautiful this place is. Now, I feel incredibly fortunate to call Tahoe home.
When Alyssa began her videography journey, I wanted to support her in every way possible as she pursued her passion. While filmmaking isn’t my primary profession, I love learning and contributing to each video.
Outside of work and filming with Alyssa, I enjoy cooking, Nordic skiing, hiking, and playing the guitar. I am excited to be a part of Made in Tahoe Films, assisting behind the scenes with sound, organization, and technical support—doing whatever is needed to help bring each project to life.
